The Family
Tapeinvader is associated and closely linked with many artists. We work on a collaborative basis and have not contractually tied any musician to the label, so while the information provided here is intended to give a comprehensive view of each artist’s portraits of our label, it can not be exhaustive.
The Label
The independent record company Tapeinvader from Kiel (Germany) has been releasing music from the genres Lo-Fi, Boombap and Rap since 2015. While instrumental releases represent the majority of the repertoire, rap or vocals can also be found on many albums. In the first years, primarily publications of artists from the local beat scene emerged, but the circle of the label has expanded steadily and albums by national artists, such as the Hamburg producer snaer. or the Bremen-based Repete23 as well as projects with international artists such as the Philadelphia-based rapper lojii or the Latvian beat producer PRGMAT were released.
The label can now look back on a discography with over 30 works by great artists and a large number of physical releases.
